How does Foodlex dietitian software work?

Foodlex is a web application for dietitians to manage client records, prepare meal plans and schedule follow-up appointments. Start with a client's details, review their plan and share a PDF from the same workspace.

Client records and measurement history

Record contact details, goals, food preferences, allergies and health information in the client's profile. Add dated measurements to compare with previous visits. The information you need for a follow-up stays together instead of being scattered across separate files.

Collect only the information you need for your work. Complete the required information and consent processes before processing health data.

Prepare and review a meal plan

Foodlex creates an AI-assisted draft using the client information and preferences you provide. Review the meals and portions, then make any necessary changes. You complete the final review before sharing the plan with your client.

Generated content is a draft, not a replacement for a dietitian's assessment. Check its suitability for the client's allergies, health conditions and nutritional goals.

Share a PDF with your practice's branding

Turn the reviewed meal plan into a PDF with your practice details and logo. Download the document or email it to your client. You can check the email's sending status in the application.

Before creating the PDF, check your practice details in settings and confirm the client's email address.

Appointments and day-to-day work

Schedule appointments in the calendar and open client records from your client list. Measurement history, meal plans and contact details stay in the same account. Foodlex runs in a web browser, so there is no desktop software to install.

Plans differ by the number of active clients: Starter 10, Professional 50, Clinic 200. Meal-plan generation is unlimited on every plan.
